Job summary

DPD in Burgess Hill is hiring a customer service advisor to support parcel collection and delivery queries. You will collaborate with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and own these resolutions.

Responsibilities include answering delivery status questions, providing POD, investigating missing parcels and promoting DPD products and services to customers. The role is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced customer service environment is essential.
• Clear and confident telephone communication with customers.
• Polite, professional and willing to go the extra mile.
• Strong admin skills and ability to use MS Office suite.
• Self-motivated with initiative to solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers regarding parcel collection or delivery.
• Work with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to resolve issues.
• Answer queries on delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
