Responsibilities
  • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and deli items to a high standard.
  • Maintain excellent food presentation and counter display.
  • Contribute ideas for specials, menu improvements, or visual upgrades.
  • Run the deli counter confidently during your shift.
  • Manage service flow during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and consistency without prompting.
  • Capture high-quality photos or short videos of food, specials, and daily operations using a smartphone.
  • Share content with management for marketing and social media use.
  • Help ensure menus, specials, and displays remain visually appealing.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and confident customer service.
  • Engage with customers and explain menu items clearly.
  • Handle queries or issues calmly and effectively.
  • Lead by example on shift.
  • Support and guide colleagues when required.
  • Help maintain a positive and professional working atmosphere.
  • Follow food hygiene, allergen, and HACCP procedures at all times.
  • Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Identify and report issues proactively.
Skills and Qualifications
