The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Clarion People Team as a DEI Specialist, strengthening our commitment to providing an environment where everyone is welcome, respected and where uniqueness and differences are truly embraced.

Working with the People Director, EMEA, with fairness at its core, this role will support the delivery of Clarions DEI strategy across the EMEA business. You will play a key part in fostering an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity of people, ideas and skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion concepts, frameworks, and best practices, with a proven ability to apply them in a corporate or organisational setting. A creative approach, combined with the ability to shape and advise on best practice, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to, as well as drive and support, positive initiatives across the business consistent with Clarion's overall DEI strategy.
  • Scoping, sourcing, and implementing our inclusion programmes, events, and activities.
  • Promoting change with a focus on invisible, as well as visible diversity.
  • Be the subject matter expert and support the development and revision of company policies and practices to reinforce DEI in the workplace.
  • Developing and running internal awareness and training sessions.
  • Overseeing and continuing the effectiveness of employee networks.
  • Developing all DEI related communications and newsletters.
  • Undertaking analysis of DEI data and reporting back to the business.
  • Compiling and maintaining records.
  • Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
  • Experience in a similar DEI role.
  • A deep understanding of the complexities of DEI.
  • Experience delivering training sessions.
  • Experience of working in a fast‑paced and complex environment with the ability to deal with ambiguity and changing circumstances.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with an ability to build and leverage strong and meaningful working relationships internally and externally across a diverse stakeholder network.
  • Analytical ability to analyse diversity & inclusion trends, issues and opportunities and align these to making practical suggestions for levers of change.
  • Real team player who is seen as approachable and a positive role model.
  • A can‑do, get‑things‑done attitude.
  • Ability to think differently, test new ideas and challenge traditional approaches to DEI.
