An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to join the Salvation Army Debt Advice Team. We are looking to recruit a Debt Advice Coordinator to set up a new Debt Advice Centre in Cardiff, Wales.

This is a two-year fixed term post. The successful candidate will be accountable to both the Financial Inclusion Leadership Team and the Salvation Army Divisional Team. You will need to be able to attend departmental meetings in Cardiff and training as required.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:

The ability and desire to support those people burdened with debt. Good communication skills are essential in Inspiration in this position, in addition to administration, IT and experience of working within the advice sector. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and in a team. You will either have a generalist debt advisor qualification or be able and willing to achieve these within the first 6 months.
