A leading professional services firm in the UK seeks a candidate with a strong UK corporate tax background for its Private Equity Portfolio Tax team. The role involves managing a team, providing bespoke tax services to PE portfolio clients, and requires excellent communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor, with opportunities for career development and involvement in diverse projects in a dynamic environment.
Our Deals Tax team works closely with our Deals practice to advise on the tax implications of all aspects of transactions including Mergers & Acquisition, Business Recovery Services and Real Estate. The role sits within the Private Equity Portfolio (PE Portfolio) Tax team, one of the most successful teams within PwC’s Deals Tax network. Our PE Portfolio team advises Private Equity backed businesses, working collaboratively across specialisms to drive value and help our clients succeed at all stages of the deal lifecycle. The team operates on a national basis so that no matter where individuals are located, we bring the best experts to our clients and the broadest range of opportunities to our people. Our client base is truly international and we pride ourselves on the strength of our network. Our team is fueled by open and curious minds who are passionate about their work. As part of the team you’ll experience unparalleled opportunities to develop your career. You’ll work on complex and challenging projects and gain experience working with prestigious and diverse clients— from high profile multinational organisations and private equity firms to start‑ups and owner‑managed businesses.
The role would suit a candidate with a strong UK corporate tax background, a good awareness of other taxes, as well as experience of managing client accounts. Experience of transaction work and/or the Private Equity market is desirable, but not essential, as full training and support would be provided.
