Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Technician II to help manage and enhance the quality of our enterprise data. In this role, you’ll collect, organize, and load data into our MDM and ERP systems to support key business operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving data quality, and ensuring information flows smoothly across the company. You’ll follow our data governance guidelines closely and play a key role in keeping our systems accurate and reliable.

Essential Job Functions
  • Prepares source data for entry by gathering and sorting information and establishing entry priorities.
  • Transforms source documents into input formats by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Resolves discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Enters data by manual data entry or by batch loads from input source.
  • Verifies entered data, by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data, combining data from multiple systems or sources when appropriate while following established departmental procedures.
  • Maintains accuracy and data integrity by following data governance policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Interacts with department on matters affecting data and contributes to discussions regarding improvement or enhancement to job processes.
  • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors, internal and external departments.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in Information Systems, Business, Data Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, data management, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to ERP or MDM systems.
  • Experience handling and maintaining accurate data, including validating, reviewing, and correcting information.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration on data quality or process improvement is required.

  • Above average knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of Data Governance and Integrity requirements.
  • Understanding of data cause and effect relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High typing accuracy.
  • Professionally represent the company while working with internal and external business contacts.

Salary: $22 - $24 an hour

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
