Within our offices in London, Chester and Los Angeles and Europe, Equals comprises of three business lines and brands - Equals Money, FairFX and CardOneMoney. You will join a very close-knit, talented and supportive team from various backgrounds who believe that bringing different perspectives together helps us understand our customers' needs. A Data Scientist at Equals Group can transform raw data into actionable insights using a variety of data science and advanced analytics techniques. These include statistical analysis, optimisation and machine learning. They are skilled at uncovering patterns, trends, and opportunities within data and delivering tailored, data-driven solutions to our internal stakeholders.
They are proficient in programming languages like SQL and Python, data visualisation tools, and expertise in AWS (or similar cloud technologies). They are business-focused and intellectually curious, with a knack for choosing the right technique for each problem.
A successful Data Scientist excels at working both collaboratively within cross-functional teams and autonomously, taking initiative to define problems, develop solutions, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and a proactive approach ensure they can independently drive projects from inception to implementation.
