Research and External Engagement (REE) is a new integrated service dedicated to driving forward the University's ambitions for research, innovation, skills and enterprise. This professional service works to support our students, drive research excellence, upskill and reskill the region's workforce, strengthen relationships and engagement with our alumni, business and community partners.
Using data analysis skills and insights garnered from stakeholder relationships within the University, this role will support REE in being data led.
The Digital & Enabling Team will be at the forefront of shaping digital transformation, process improvements, and automation that empower the entire service to innovate and thrive. Your expertise will contribute to a forward-thinking, dynamic, data-led environment that constantly seeks better ways of working and greater impact.
This role will work in our data team working closely with likeminded colleagues to provide accurate, relevant and insightful data analysis. This role will support our three delivery pillars: Business, Research & Skills.
You will be working with a wide range of data sets - a combination of data that already exists and input into the development of new datasets. You will review and analyse data, providing insights for stakeholders from across the University.
You need to be all things data! You'll need to understand the complexity and nuances of processing and managing large data sets. You will be working across teams, so you will need to be flexible, able to prioritise and a good communicator, Disability Confident.
