A global real estate services leader is seeking a Data Center Technician in Slough. You will assist with maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and work closely with the Data Centre Engineer. The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, is self-motivated, and possesses the necessary technical qualifications. Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance, responding to alarms, and supervising subcontractors, ensuring a safe working environment while delivering excellent customer service.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Data Centre Technician to join the team located in Slough.
The successful candidate will assist with control and supervision of work tasks for planned and reactive maintenance alongside the Data Centre Engineer. They will also be liaising with Engineering management and client personnel to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements.
The candidate will be required to operate as a Low Voltage Authorised person ensuring all required safety paperwork is completed to a high standard whilst also ensuring alignment with company policies and safe system of work.
Whilst on site the Data Centre Technician will report to the Engineering Supervisor and assist the Data Centre Engineer and shift teams with ensuring all works are carried out safely, to a high standard and within site specific time constraints. This role is a Monday to Friday Day role for an experienced LVAP.
