A wonderful client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to care for a large, formal residence in North Lincolnshire. Both daily and live-in candidates will be considered for the role.

The position involves a mix of hands-on housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties, with a focus on maintaining the high standards of the household. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with laundering fine fabrics, bedding, and using a roller press or steamer. Knowledge of caring for antiques, artwork, and delicate furnishings is essential.

The Housekeeper must be able to work independently, maintain discretion, and blend seamlessly into the home’s daily life, ensuring it always feels welcoming and lived-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily hands-on cleaning and maintenance of the home
• Following a detailed cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal)
• Laundry, ironing, and special care for fine fabrics
• Overseeing the smooth running of the home, ensuring it is ready for family visits, while preserving a warm, family-friendly atmosphere

A confident driver is essential due to location of the role. A driver’s license is essential due to the property’s rural location.

The role is typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with two weekends per month (time off in lieu or additional pay).

Accommodation may be offered for the right candidate, although local daily candidates are also welcome to apply.

The Housekeeper can have a partner live with them, with the flexibility to pursue their own career.

Salary of £30k gpa depending on experience.

The position is available to start as soon as the ideal candidate is found.
