Job description
Customer Team Member

Location: Shrewsbury Road Bomere Heath, Shrewsbury, SY4 3NX

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time

Working pattern: 2pm‑11pm, including weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve either working before 6am or after 10pm, or other business‑related needs.

We’re lookingleriň a friendly team to help our customers. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll provide great service on the tills and shop floor, and perform a range of tasks such as rest‑ocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you’ll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
