Join a team that puts empathy, clarity and customer confidence at the heart of everything. At Proactis, our Portals team supports a wide range of users, from local councils to small businesses, helping them navigate procurement processes that really matter.

You’ll be the first point of contact, guiding users through our platforms, resolving issues, and making sure they feel confident and capable. You’ll build relationships with customers on our private portal, contributing directly to retention and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer queries via phone and email, resolving issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Guide users through portal functionality and help them understand how to complete tasks independently.
  • Publish and process tender notices in line with UK procurement regulations.
  • Perform admin tasks to support portal operations, including ticketing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Portals Manager on service improvements and customer experience initiatives.
  • Participate in customer events and provide support as needed.
Who You Are
  • Emotionally intelligent and able to adapt your communication style to suit different users.
  • Supportive and empowering - you help people learn how to solve problems themselves.
  • Organised and able to manage admin tasks alongside customer interactions.
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and SLAs, and understand how they support great service.
  • Quick to learn and proactive in improving how things are done.
  • Collaborative and keen to contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Some knowledge of procurement/tendering processes.
