Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is looking for a Hire Controller to manage the customer journey from enquiry to post-hire feedback. You will handle calls, emails, and website requests, upsell where possible, and build lasting relationships with customers in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

The successful candidate will bring proven customer service experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, adaptable mindset. Experience in hire or construction is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Previous experience in hire or construction industry advantageous.
• Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to customers by phone, email, and website requests.
• Manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, owning the customer journey.
• Build relationships with regular customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Utilise product knowledge to support customers and improve service levels.
