Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is looking for a Hire Controller to join our Customer Service team. You'll be the face of our service, building relationships with customers, handling enquiries by phone, email and web requests, and guiding orders from initial enquiry to post-hire feedback.

This role emphasizes upselling, product knowledge and a practical, hands-on approach in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, handling enquiries and completing transactions to satisfy customers.
• Experience in hire or construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to develop product knowledge and understand the Sunbelt product range.
• Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing.
• Ability to use own judgement and initiative within company policies.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Flexible, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Proficient with MS Office and willing to learn new IT systems.

Responsibilities
