Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the UK is seeking a Hire Controller to deliver best-in-class customer service and convert enquiries into sales. You will manage orders from initial enquiry through post-hire feedback, building strong relationships with regular customers.

The role involves contacting customers by telephone, email, and website requests; experience in customer service is essential, with industry experience advantageous but not required. A hands-on, operational environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Experience in hire or construction industry is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to develop and utilise product knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Good level of computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and website requests.
• Deliver best-in-class service and maximise upselling opportunities.
• Manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, owning the customer journey.
