Sunbelt Rentals in Liverpool is seeking a Hire Controller to join our Customer Services team. You will build relationships with customers, manage the full order journey from enquiry to post-hire feedback, and help us deliver a best-in-class service.

This hands-on role requires proactive communication by phone, email and website requests, along with upselling where appropriate; you will need initiative, strong teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, including handling orders and inquiries.
• Experience in the hire or construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to develop and apply product knowledge to customer needs.
• Excellent communication, with negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to use own judgment and work independently within policy.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative approach.
• Flexible, adaptable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and service standards.
• Solid MS Office skills and willingness to learn new IT systems.
