Job summary

Sainsbury's in Huddersfield is seeking a Customer Service-focused Services Assistant to support customers at checkouts, self-checkouts, kiosks and petrol stations. You will assist with queries, Click & Collect parcels, and promote promotions while working across the store with a great team.

You're expected to build product knowledge, handle complaints, and move trolleys safely. Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Always being on hand to serve and support customers on our checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks or even our petrol stations, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help
• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
• Dealing with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising
• Safely moving and retrieving trolleys in our customer carparks
• Working flexibly across the store as needed
