Job summary

DPD in Dundee is seeking a Customer Service Advisor on a 6 month fixed term contract to support the delivery network and customer queries. You will be contacting internal teams to resolve issues and keep customers informed.

In this busy role you’ll manage delivery status queries, provide Proof of Delivery, and work closely with drivers and supervisors to resolve disputes, delivering a world-class service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Polite and professional at all times with a willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to exceed customer expectations.
• Excellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.
• Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Answer queries regarding delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Carry out investigations for missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
• Work closely with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and resolve them.
