DPD Group UK, Gateshead-based, is seeking a Customer Service Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract to assist internal and external customers with parcel collections and deliveries.

In this busy role you will work closely with drivers and operations managers to track deliveries, resolve disputes and provide Proof of Delivery details, while upholding the company’s values of passion, respect, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a confident telephone manner.
• Polite, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
• Strong administration skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Answer queries related to delivery status and supply Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Carry out investigations for missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
