Job summary

Skipton Building Society in Bridlington is recruiting a Customer Service Consultant to work 36 hours per week across Bridlington and Scarborough branches. The role focuses on greeting customers, understanding needs and providing information about savings products, maintaining records and delivering a first-class service.

You'll engage face-to-face and over the phone, support online transactions, and contribute to a friendly, helpful community-based service with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience interacting with customers, in person or over the phone.
• Experience in a branch, contact centre, or retail environment is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with customers in-branch and by phone.
• Understand customer needs by asking insightful questions.
• Offer tailored solutions based on individual circumstances.
• Proactively reach out to customers by phone to discuss needs.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Adhere to company policies with training and coaching.
