Job summary

Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Customer Relationship Consultant to work at our Altrincham branch. This permanent, full-time role (36 hours per week) focuses on understanding customer needs, presenting our savings range, and guiding customers through My Review appointments to help achieve their financial goals.

You will engage face to face, virtually or by telephone, resolve queries with a friendly service, and ensure records are up to date while following our policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience interacting with customers in-person or by phone.
• Ability to listen, understand needs and tailor solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; one-team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify needs and tailor suitable solutions.
• Act as first point of contact in branch with enthusiasm.
• Conduct 'My Review' appointments face to face, virtually, or by phone.
• Proactively contact customers by phone to discuss needs.
• Educate customers on a range of products and channels.
• Maintain customer records accurately in internal systems.
• Follow policies and controls relevant to the role.
