Job summary

Skipton Building Society in the Barnoldswick and Clitheroe area is hiring a Customer Consultant on a permanent full-time basis (36 hours per week) to put customers at the heart of everything we do. You will greet customers in-branch or over the phone, discuss their savings needs and guide them through our products, with a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of interacting with customers.
• Ability to work well alongside others with a 'one-team' mindset.
• Experience in a Contact Centre environment may be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Be the First Point of Contact: You’ll warmly welcome customers in-branch and over the phone.
• Engage and Understand: Ask insightful questions to uncover needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Listen and Tailor Solutions: Offer solutions based on customers' circumstances for best outcomes.
• Proactive Outreach: Reach out to customers over the phone to discuss how we can support them.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Keep customer records up-to-date and support vulnerable customers.
• Adhere to Policies: Follow our policies with training and coaching to support you.
