Job summary

Skipton Building Society in Preston is hiring a Customer Relationship Consultant to help customers achieve their financial goals through personalised conversations and a friendly, proactive service.

This permanent role is 36 hours per week. You will engage with customers in branch, online and by phone, review savings products and guide customers to suitable solutions while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of interacting with customers.
• Experience in a bank or building society is fine.
• Experience in contact centre environments may be advantageous.
• Ability to meet customers' needs with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Great communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and tailor solutions.
• Be the first point of contact in branch with enthusiasm to help.
• Conduct My Review appointments face to face, virtually or by telephone.
• Proactively contact customers by phone to discuss needs.
• Educate customers on a range of products and channels.
• Maintain accurate customer records and support vulnerable customers.
