Job summary

Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Customer Consultant to work at our Barnoldswick & Clitheroe Branches. You will greet customers in-branch and by phone, listen to needs, explain our savings range and services, and provide friendly, personalised support to help them reach their goals.

This permanent role is 36 hours per week, with a salary of £25,500 per annum plus benefits including a discretionary bonus, generous pension contributions, private medical insurance, volunteering days and

Qualifications

• Previous experience interacting with customers.
• Experience in a contact centre environment is appreciated.
• Customer-focused with ability to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact, welcoming customers in-branch and by phone to make a positive first impression.
• Engage and understand customers’ needs and provide tailored savings solutions and information.
• Listen carefully to each customer’s circumstances and offer personalised financial guidance.
• Proactively reach out to customers by phone to understand needs and discuss support options.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems with attention to vulnerable customers.
• Adhere to policies, standards and controls with training and coaching support.
