A leading UK university is hiring for a part-time position in its Retail Shop offering 30 hours per week during term time. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer service, cash handling, and stock control. Ideal candidates will exhibit a customer-focused ethos and flexibility. Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided. This role offers numerous benefits including discounts, flexible working options, and an onsite gym.
The new part‑time post (30 hours per week, term time only) will be available from January 2026 on a permanent basis in our Retail Shop (The Market Place) within the Forum building at the University of Exeter.
This position involves working any five of the seven days within the week, between 07:00 and 22:15, for a total of 32 weeks during term time. Flexibility from both parties will be required to meet the demands of the business. Hours can be discussed so please still apply.
