Job description

Position Summary

Support the day-to-day operation of a licensed gaming venue. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, maintaining venue cleanliness, performing minor repairs, handling customer concerns, ensuring legal compliance by challenging anyone under 25, managing cash handling and daily float, offering promotions, and supporting the MSA engineer in standard maintenance, sales targets, and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Accept and resolve customer complaints.
  • Maintain venue cleanliness and perform minor repairs.
  • Challenge, ticket or exclude any patron suspected of being under 25.
  • Handle cash, ensure accurate float management, and perform required checks.
  • Serve promotions and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Assist MSA engineer with maintaining standards and covering holidays.
  • Support delivery of company sales targets.
  • Create an environment of top‑class customer care and exceed operating standards.
  • Act on security alerts and assist in investigations as directed.
  • Attend meetings and periodic business reviews.
  • Promote the company positively at all opportunities.
Person Specification

Carry out duties while minimising risk to yourself and cash equipment in your possession. Ensure utmost security of cash, machine keys and company property. Do not leave cash or keys unattended or with unauthorised persons.

Health and Safety

Adhere to all company health and safety practices. Report potential hazards; take appropriate action through the representative or other agencies. Ensure work conforms to current legislation and regulations.

Communication

Attend required meetings, including 1:1 business reviews with the Service Supervisor. Promote the company among internal and external personnel.

Human Resources

Maintain conduct that reflects favourably on the company and a presentable appearance. Create a good working environment, support team commitment, and help meet training needs. Attend meetings and training courses as required. Work efficiently and effectively with peers.
