✈️ Join Belfast International Airport as a Customer Service Assistant✈️

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service while playing a vital role in airport safety and operations?

Optime, aviation recruitment specialists, are recruiting Customer Service Assistants to join a respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport.

No previous airport or security experience? No problem! You’ll receive full training, support with background checks, on-site mentoring, and a smooth onboarding process.

Start Date - 26th January 2026
🕒 Shifts

You must be able to work both shift patterns:

  • Early: 03:30 – 13:30
  • Late: 12:30 – 22:30
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be a welcoming face of the airport—while ensuring a safe, smooth, and secure experience for passengers. Duties include:

Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Greeting passengers and providing friendly, helpful support
  • Guiding customers through airport processes and responding to enquiries
  • Maintaining a calm, professional, and supportive presence during busy periods
Security Responsibilities
  • Screening passengers and baggage using both equipment and manual techniques
  • Monitoring and patrolling airside and landside areas
  • Managing access control points and assisting with incident investigations
  • Responding to emergency or escalated situations in a composed manner
  • Ensuring compliance with airport and security regulations

This role blends customer interaction with essential airport safety duties—perfect for individuals who enjoy working with people and staying active.
