Job summary

A family-run fuel distribution company in Gloucester is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will manage telephone orders, process payments, and raise tickets for fuel deliveries. This role requires 40 hours of work per week in a fully office-based setting, predominantly Monday to Friday, along with some Saturday morning hours. Overview

Ford Fuels is a family run fuel, lubricant, and AdBlue distribution business supplying both commercial and domestic customers.

An opportunity has arisen for a Full-Time Customer Service Advisor to join our expanding Customer Service team working at our Gloucester Depot.

You will be required to work Saturday mornings for 3 hours on a rota basis, which will be paid at overtime rate.

About the role
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Fully office based
  • 1st line telephone response
  • Answer the telephone to take fuel orders
  • Raise tickets for fuel orders
  • Process orders for Transport to deliver
  • Take payments over the phone
  • Direct calls to the relevant departments
  • Process group orders
  • Transfer tickets to other depots
