A leading delivery service provider in Coventry is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver. You will be responsible for delivering groceries to customers while providing excellent service. This role offers flexible working hours with guaranteed minimum hours per week. The ideal candidate should hold a valid driving licence and have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we are happy to consider that as well.
The table below shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will receive three‑weeks’ notice of your shifts. As the face of Tesco out on the road, you will deliver all the way from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. Your Customer Delivery Drivers meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day – a role that is more about helping others and delivering great service with a smile.
