Job summary

Nationwide is hiring a Customer Representative for the Wimborne, Dorset branch. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday–Saturday) involves serving customers in person, on the phone, and online, guiding them through everyday banking needs and digital tools.

You’ll support local customers, ensure secure transactions, and help people access fairer financial services with care and clarity.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service beneficial.
• Ability to handle busy environments with empathy.
• Comfort with technology and digital services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs with friendly help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services to help manage their money.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
