Job summary

Nationwide in Worcester is seeking a Customer Representative to deliver great customer experiences across in-branch, phone and online channels. You will welcome customers, handle transactions and queries, and guide them toward suitable banking products and digital tools with care and confidence.

This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) requires you to be within a 45-minute commute of the branch. Training is provided to set you up for success.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer service environment is helpful.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Ability to stay calm and helpful in busy periods.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with banking.
Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising customer security and fairness.
Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs to help manage their money confidently.
Work with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service even at peak times.
Follow processes, identify potential issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
Make face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
