Job summary

Henderson Group is hiring a Customer Advisor for SPAR Hanwood in Belfast. This part-time role covers 16 hours per week with late shifts (4pm-11pm weekdays and 6am-11pm weekends).

You will deliver friendly, efficient service at the till, replenish stock, and ensure shelves are correctly priced and merchandised. Training is provided, and the role supports the store team to serve customers across Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.
• Personality, energy and a positive attitude are valued.
• Availability to cover late shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily and follow stock rotation policy.
• Merchandise stock effectively to boost sales.
• Ensure shelf prices are correct using shelf labels.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Perform other duties as required.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.


• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.


• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.


• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.


• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.


• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.


• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
