Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Customer Advisor at SPAR Carnmoney Hill in Glengormley. This part‑time role is 15 hours per week with shift times 5pm–11pm weekdays and 7am–11pm weekends, reporting to the Store Management Team to maintain high standards of customer service.

You will operate checkouts, replenish stock, merchandize displays, ensure correct shelf edge labeling and price accuracy, and occasionally cover the Post Office. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Part-time permanent role with 15 hours per week.
• Availability 5pm–11pm Monday to Friday and 7am–11pm Saturday and Sunday.
• No prior retail experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Ensure daily stock replenishment while complying with stock rotation.
• Merchandise stock to enhance sales and maintain correct shelf edge labeling.
• Display stock at correct prices using Shelf Edge Labels.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• Cover the Post Office when required.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Rate of Pay from £11.95 to £13.30 per hour depending on your age & benefits. Part‑time permanent positions available at 15 hours per week with availability 5pm-11pm Monday to Friday and 7.00am-11pm Saturday and Sunday.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotationprocess.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You will be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
