Job summary

Henderson Group in Bangor is recruiting a Customer Advisor at SPAR Rathmore. This part‑time role is 25 hours per week, covering morning, afternoon and weekend shifts within store hours 6:00am–11:00pm, with flexibility.

You will operate checkouts, replenish stock daily, merchandise strategically and price items using Shelf Edge Labels to support sales while delivering excellent customer service. Training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.
• Personality, energy and a positive attitude are essential to deliver great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily and follow stock rotation procedures.
• Merchandise stock to drive sales and ensure correct shelf pricing.
• Maintain high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover Post Office duties when required.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
