Job summary

Henderson Group’s EUROSPAR Shankill store in Belfast is seeking a Customer Advisor. You’ll assist customers, operate checkouts, replenish and merchandise stock, and ensure accurate pricing and presentation on shelves.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with shifts across Monday to Sunday, 6:00am–11:00pm, and flexibility for weekday evenings and weekends. Training is provided.

• No retail experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers and advise on products and services.
• Operate checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Stock replenishment and merchandising to promote sales.
• Display stock with correct pricing and shelf labels.
• Maintain high levels of customer service in-store.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
