Job summary

Henderson Group, a leading NI foodservice provider, is seeking a Customer Advisor for our SPAR Carnmoney Hill store. This part‑time role offers 15 hours per week with 5pm–11pm weekday shifts and 7am–11pm weekend shifts.

Training will be provided to those new to retail, and a positive, customer‑focused attitude is valued alongside reliability and team spirit. Salary starts from £11.95–£13.30 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to grow within the Henderson Group family.

Qualifications

• No previous retail experience required; training will be provided.
• Positive attitude and energy with a focus on delivering great customer experience.
• Willingness to cover the Post Office when required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Ensure stock is replenished daily and rotated according to company policy.
• Merchandise stock effectively to enhance sales and display correct prices.
• Maintain price accuracy with Shelf Edge Labels and attractive presentation.
• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times within the store.
• Cover the Post Office when required as part of the role.
• Carry out other duties as required.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotationprocess.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You will be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
