• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical & Carpentry required.

Purpose

• To assist the Curriculum Director in the management and review of the curriculum in accordance with College policies, including:
• To undertake a teaching programme and all aspects of the teaching and learning process (equating to 350 taught hours per annum), including:
• To act as a Course Leader for designated course(s)
• To participate in liaison activities associated with the programme area and those relating to the College provision
• Develop and maintain professional competence in the post and in other duties performed on behalf of the Curriculum of the College
• Performance and People Management

Skills / Experience

• Experience in leading teams
• Experience in teaching the relevant subject area
• Excellent knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development and design

Qualifications

• Grade C (or above) or equivalent English and Maths
• Level 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (Electrical & Carpentry)
• Level 5 Teaching qualification
• Relevant degree/and or appropriate level of professional qualifications
