A prominent financial institution in London is seeking a Credit Risk Portfolio Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the strategic development of credit portfolio management, conduct data analysis, and embed key models while guiding senior management insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services and strong analytical skills, particularly with SAS. Credit Risk Portfolio Manager — 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity within the Credit Risk team; the team provides independent oversight of credit risk and sits within 2LOD.
The team is responsible for independent credit risk control, governance, portfolio management, delivery of the IRB programme and input into bank-wide activities where credit subject matter expertise is required. Key strategic areas include ICAAP, IRB and risk framework embedment. The breadth of deliverables requires a flexible and collaborative approach from team members.
The role will take a leading part in enhancing the bank's portfolio management capabilities, working across the existing risk control function to develop portfolio oversight and analytics, and with data and model development teams.
Please note there are no line management responsibilities / reportees for this role.
