Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the Credit Risk life cycle.
• Detailed knowledge of mortgage products and servicing.
• Ability to work on project type activities.
• Broad knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Good understanding of applicable regulations within the mortgage market.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities within Group Risk oversight across the entire Credit Risk lifecycle.
• Provide independent challenge to first-line solutions.
• Provide insights on 1st Line activity, change proposals, portfolio and emerging risks.

How you'll make a difference

You will lead activities within Group Risk oversight across the entire end-to-end Credit Risk lifecycle, providing independent challenge to first-line solutions and ensuring that credit risk remains within appetite. You will also provide the Head of Credit Risk Oversight, CRO & committees / working groups with insights on 1st Line activity, change proposals, portfolio and emerging risks. This is an exiting opportunity to support the Society to deliver their Purpose.
