Senior Credit Control Lead

Keeler Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a leading business to recruit a Senior Credit Control Lead, a pivotal role where you'll redesign processes, optimise cash flow, and drive best-practice credit management. You'll shape the systems, policies, and team structures that support growth and keep collections running smoothly.

The Role

This business is looking for a strategic, hands-on leader with deep credit control expertise and a passion for transformation. You'll combine strong technical capability with exceptional people skills, building a high-performing function with measurable impact.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall credit control strategy, designing and implementing robust processes, SOPs, and improvements across key stakeholders.
  • Build and develop the team - determining structure, recruiting, upskilling, and ensuring strong leadership and retention, particularly across subscription-based services.
  • Drive optimisation of the Order-to-Cash process, using root cause analysis and data insights to refine workflows, reduce non-payment, and maintain accurate ledgers through strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Oversee performance reporting, including KPI frameworks, payment behaviour analysis, ROI reporting, and insights for senior management, while ensuring compliance and positioning Credit Control as a growth enabler.
  • Manage risk by identifying potential bad debt, maintaining detailed records, ensuring timely communication and accurate credit note processing, and providing working papers to support forecasting and budgeting.
