Credit Control & Collections Associate

As a Credit Control & Collections Associate you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health while supporting our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. What you will do
  • Manage recovery of outstanding receivables from Industrial & Commercial customers
  • Conduct account reviews to identify and resolve non‑payment issues
  • Chase outstanding payments through various communication channels
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policy
  • Monitor aged debt and prioritize collection efforts based on risk
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and produce weekly reports on arrears and collection activity
  • Support the legal and disconnection process for non‑paying customers
What you will have
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in collections or credit control
  • Proven experience working with B2B or corporate accounts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Professional confident and diplomatic when interacting with others
  • Ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Energy industry knowledge (desirable but not essential)
