Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Cred Supervisor individual to join our team at HMP Lewes, a CATEGORY B & Male Adult prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Cred Supervisor with any combination of:

Requirements
  • Understanding of prisons and the prisoner working systems or a willingness to learn — Desirable
  • Understanding of how to use tools and equipment to complete small scale refurbishments — Essential
  • Knowledge of working safely and putting health & safety principles into practice — Essential
  • Experience in managing small scale refurbishments and projects — Essential
  • Experience of supervising staff — Essential
  • Self-motivated with a positive 'can do' approach to work — Desirable
  • Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders — Desirable
  • Trade or building qualification of some description such as carpentry, painting & decorating, plumbing or electrics — Essential
