Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Maths Specialist
Location: Northampton
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible (Term-Time Only)
Salary: £110 - £135.50 per day (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

Link 3 Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with a qualification/experience in Maths to work across a range of secondary schools in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting their learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.

About the Role
  • Deliver pre-set Maths lessons to classes in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
  • Support students with tasks and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student engagement
  • Promote literacy and a love for Maths through enthusiastic lesson delivery and academic support
Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A strong knowledge and passion for Maths
  • Have some understanding across all key stages up to GCSEs and A’ Levels
  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, youth work, or tutoring)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • The ability to build rapport and inspire students
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK
