Cover Supervisors Needed - Flintshire - September 2025

Are you a confident and outgoing graduate who likes the idea of securing a school-based role filled with variety and excitement? Where every day is different and a new learning experience? Have you considered working as a Cover Supervisor? A new opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Secondary School in Flintshire. With opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training in the future, this Cover Supervisor role is the perfect job for aspiring teachers who are seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans
• Ensure students are on-task and understand the work that has been set
• Using the school's behaviour policies to maintain classroom control
• Fantastic way of securing relevant experience prior to Teacher Training

Job Details

• Secondary School based in Flitshire
• Pay: Up to 100 per day
• Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30

Qualifications &experience

• Excellent academic record and GCSEs/A-Levels
• Degree specialism in English, Maths, or Science is advantageous
• Confidence to stand in front of classes of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set lesson plans
• Experience in similar roles (e.g., TEFL Teaching) is advantageous
