A leading educational institution in Wythenshawe is hiring part-time Cover Supervisors to support classroom activities during teacher absences. The role requires managing student behavior, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and providing feedback on student progress. The position is permanent, part-time (14-21 hours weekly), offering a pro-rata salary of £9,999-£14,999.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for part time Cover Supervisors to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) in Wythenshawe.
The posts are permanent and part time, working 14-21 hours/2-3 days per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The pro‑rata salary is £9,999-£14,999 and full time equivalent starting salary is £29,064, Grade 5.
We are seeking a confident, adaptable and proactive individual who enjoys working with young people and is committed to supporting their learning. The successful candidate will be able to manage classroom behaviour effectively, deliver pre‑prepared lessons, and provide feedback on student progress. Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential; we welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds who are passionate about education and making a difference.
As Cover Supervisor you will complement the professional work of teachers by delivering agreed learning activities to whole classes during short‑term staff absences. You will ensure continuity of learning, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
