We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Chichester to recruit a full-time Cover Supervisor starting September 2025. This is a long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a range of subjects such as Maths, History, and Geography for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The lessons will be planned in advance, and your main responsibility will be to manage the classroom, maintain good behaviour, and keep pupils focused and engaged.

Have experience working with secondary school students (e.g., as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or tutor)
Are confident managing classroom behaviour and supervising students
Are flexible, professional, and reliable
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
Are happy to cover a variety of subjects as needed
Have a DBS check registered on the Update Service or are willing to get one
Both qualified teachers and those without formal teaching qualifications but with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
