Job summary

Evri’s Final Mile team in Dagenham is seeking a Courier Training and Onboarding Specialist to be the on-site champion keeping the unit’s operations running smoothly. You’ll support and guide couriers, ensuring parcels are ready for collection and coverage is allocated effectively, with a focus on efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to spot and escape risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of new couriers and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance throughout the process.
• Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels before escalating.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
