Job summary

Evri in Gloucester is seeking a Courier Service Specialist to act as the on-site champion for the Delivery Unit, ensuring parcels are ready for collection and service is reliable.

You will oversee daily activity, tackle issues early, and keep operations flowing smoothly so customers get the great experience they expect. This role requires a current UK driving licence and a solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and ability to spot risks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and allocate work to new couriers.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and compliance.
• Address local issues like late couriers or missing parcels.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely escalations.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing and queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to optimise performance.
