Joining our senior leadership team, you will build upon the outstanding relationships and commitment to partnership working established between the family of schools, academies, colleges, and Hampshire County Council to improve educational provision and outcomes in Hampshire.
You will lead these key services :
As part of your role, you will be able to communicate a shared, clear vision which inspires and motivates. You will ensure evidence‑based advice, challenge and support is available, and targeted resources are used to improve provision and improve outcomes. You will be deeply committed to ensuring strategies and services are shaped by the voice of children and young people, parents and educational settings.
Through significant senior leadership experience you will be able to demonstrate the successful and sustained impact of your leadership on wider outcomes for children and young people. You will understand the principles of inclusion and demonstrate how these would underpin your work in this role. You will also be deeply committed to improving outcomes for those who have special educational needs, are vulnerable or unfavourably affected by aspects of disadvantage.
A knowledge of the key performance indicators around SEN and how to plan and deliver a strategy to be increasingly successful against these is essential.
