A leading staffing agency is recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver for a recycling company based in Swinton, UK. Job description

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver for a recycling company based GMC in Swinton.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift Operation:

pine safely operate a Counterbalance FLT to move goods around the warehouse

Load and unload vehicles, wagons, and deliveries using correct handling techniques

Transport stock to designated storage or production areas

Conduct daily safety inspections of the forklift and complete required paperwork

Warehouse & Production Support

• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch using pick sheets or RF scanners
• Line feeding: supply production lines with materials asедом required
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking deliveries against paperwork
• Identify, label, and organize pallets for dispatch
• Maintain a constant flow of materials to operators and laborers on the production line

Housekeeping & Safety

• Study all Health & Safety rules and site procedures at all times
• Report damaged goods or equipment issues immediately
• Keep work areas, aisles, and doorways clear and tidy
• Perform general housekeeping duties as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Valid, in–date Counterbalance FLT licence (external accredited licence required)
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or production environment
• Strong understanding of safe manual handling practices
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time pressure
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Previous experience handling oversized or heavy freight
• Basic picking / packing experience

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12am midnight

Typical Pay Range: 13 per hour

Temp to Perm for the right candidate
